2.5 stars rounded up. An average version of Pride and Prejudice with magic and sex. A lot of the nuance from the original was lost and the conflict at the end was resolved much too quickly, but overall a decent story

This book was disappointing - there was no new information and the tone of the book was generally sanctimonious and unaware of privilege. I imagine her blog would give more practical thoughts.

Really charming and engaging murder mystery. I loved both story lines and the way the author brought it all together.
