Well, so far I am embarrassed that my book option was the one drawn from the hat for book club.

So after giving Red Rising 2 stars, I'm as surprised as anyone that Golden Son has ended up as my current read. It took two DNFs before finally making it through Red Rising, but I can say that this one is much better so far. Everything is moving much faster, and although I'm not a hundred percent invested, I am curious enough to see how this plays out to continue.

I’m picking this back up…for the third time. Please let third time be a charm. My socials are inundated with people loving this and I just want to make it through book 1.

Is it me? I’m not loving it, but I’m going to try and push through.
