Kaysen has some interesting stories and some that are hard to follow. It's also interesting to see how her unreliable narration impacts the flow of the memoir.

The scene with President Snow actually gives me chills. Collins has a knack for writing this twisted, but also incredibly smart, character. The allusions to Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes are really good. It's fun to see how Lucy Gray really does haunt Snow's narrative.
