This mother needs to get therapy. And possibly a visit from social services. Should be interesting to see how the author redeems her, because right now, I'm rooting for a selective plane crash.

While I'm liking the internet part of this (trolls really are that mean and stupid, so...), the fact that Madi's parents are treating her like a seventeen year old mother of a special needs child (or we'll take your internet away, you selfish girl!) is making me want to call CPS.

Seriously considering DNFing, because I just want to constantly slap her parents.

Like the content, but it's REALLY hard to read in places. (Light blue text on a cream background is not good for old eyes.)

Wendig is a *god*.

This may be my new favorite book. I was too early for the Riot Grrrl movement when I was young, but I’ve always loved zines and the power they have. This book makes my hands itch to cut, paste, and revolt.

So I'm finally trying to make my GR account usable, and have realized I have downloaded a whole lot of...well... *crap* for Kindle.

I think I might have to do a marathon to find out which ones I want to keep and which are irredeemable.

This should be interesting. My DNF list's about to be fed, I believe.

I want to love this. I love the characters. I love the premise and the plot.

But the language is driving me nuts. All of the head-hopping is hard to keep up with, but the prince uses almost no contractions. Everything is "I will" and "You could not" and it reads kind of stilted and throws me right out of the story.

I still really like it, but....argh.

...and I'm just *now* getting to the plot. Hopefully, it'll make up for the full *quarter of the book* that I just read with not much going on.

Liking it a lot so far, however, at one point, two mechanics go somewhere to pick up a 1963 Mustang. Uh. 1964 1/2 was the first year Mustangs were made. FACT CHECKING FAIL. :)
