I’m actually reading an ARC of the audiobook, but that edition isn’t on here yet!

Actually listening to the audiobook, but that’s not an option on here at the moment!

Officially DnF-ing at chapter 18, at the start of ‘Night two’. The weirdest metaphors ever, often appearing to have very little connection to the context. This reads very young, with little depth and hops around all over the place. Every metaphor involves a colour and I’ve begun to find it irritating.
I’m not a fan.

I stopped at 50%. I get the themes, but the whole thing is waaay too rambling and disconnected for me, with insufficient humour to entice me onwards. The synopsis is much more entertaining. Officially a DNF because life is too short for this nonsense.

My brain will melt if I read any more of this.
