Quite amusing but there was some difficulty in keeping up with all the sheep names and their quirky personalities.

A quirky murder mystery investigated by sheep! Amusing and philosophical but keeping up with the different sheep names and idiosyncrasies was a bit of a challenge.

I’m only on page 39 and my hair is standing on end! History is being repeated.

Reading it again for book group which I had been planning to do anyway.

Disappointing! The story doesn’t measure up to The Night Circus. It was too contrived and a bit gruesome.

Interesting reading but should cite where he gets his information. Inquiring minds want to know! He has some citations but not enough to satisfy readers’ questions.

I didn’t finish it. Too much like A Girl on the Train and other books which have characters with not enough to do but spy on their neighbours (and drink too much)!

Haven’t finished it. Not sure I will. I loved her first 2 books but couldn’t get into this one.

Engrossing!

Slow going at the beginning. Now I’m starting to get into the characters.

Although this is a story about the first few years of WWII, a rather serious subject, this author has interjected some humour into the plot. I have found myself laughing out loud at the descriptions and interactions of his characters.

I downloaded this book from the library to read on our trek across the country. It is a great story. I am really enjoying it and don't want it to end. Can't imagine how the author is going to wrap it up.
