This is not a good book. I'm debating if I want to finish it. Currently it's a non-issue because I have a billion school projects I need to finish.

Not quite finished. Joe fell asleep during the audiobook. That dork. That probably means I'll have to re-listen to a little so he's not completely lost. It's just the worst time to fall asleep. So close to the end.

I opted to go with the audiobook version this time at least and it is sweet comfort to hear Cecil’s voice do the narration. I think I would have a hard time choosing to read this over listening. To his voice. We’re hopefully going to finish the book this weekend, and already have It Devours! lined up as my next book.

I’m honestly not sure if I’ll finish this. I think it’s gotten long, and I’m starting to lose track of what’s happening with the characters

Been listening to this on Audible with my husband, which is why the progress for the Sherlock Holmes books has been so slow. I like that most of the collection is short stories so we can listen to an entire story during an hour long drive. The edition we're listening to is narrated by Stephen Fry, and he really does a fantastic job. If you have audible I recommend looking for the Stephen Fry Sherlock Holmes edition.

I'm not enjoying this book. Maybe it's just the wrong time to be reading a 19th century romance. So far it's been a pretty boring read.
