Story about a woman whose husband wants a divorce and has a new girlfriend. A lost stuffed pink bunny triggers a hunt for her family by a political candidate who gave his out-of-wedlock son up for adoption and who had another child to provide stem cells for his older daughter. Pretty good read. A little confusing at times with trying to figure out who was who. I would read more by her.

Just couldn’t get into it. Did not finish.

The book was meh. There were no great plot twists. You knew the ex was coming and who he was so the story just followed that concept. The beginning seemed hastily thrown in and the resolution at the end was lackluster. Some dialogue was too detailed and parts were too graphic or dark for my taste. Not a huge fan.

I liked it. A two ships that passed in the night love story about an international photographer who travels to Iowa to photograph bridges and falls in love with a married woman.

The premise was good but not something I couldn’t put down. The dad had a hero complex and there was too much detail regarding security departments and terrorist activity. Not really my thing. I did like the initial backpack mix up and how the plot began but after that it was just ok.

Won’t read more by this author. Too many characters and relationships to keep track of and the chapters did not flow well. Felt like there weren’t enough clues for me to figure out who did it and at the end it still didn’t completely make sense.

Romance by Janet E. Hints of her quirky character personalities. Not too graphic. Quick, easy, lighthearted read for summer beach read.

This was a good read. Nothing about it frustrated me. There were a couple little turns that took me by surprise. Would read more by this author.

Quick easy read. Nothing exceptional about it but also wasn’t awful. A feel good, good ending kind of book. I would read moser by this author if there was nothing else to read.

I was hoping that there would be a big twist out of left field at the end of the book, but the ending was nothing too exciting. The story kept me interested and engaged in who was lying and who was crazy or not crazy. The whole book revolves around possible conspiracy theories. It was pretty good, other than the blah ending.

I liked the book but there was a lot going on and it was hard to keep track of. There was a big twist at the end that I did not see coming. Bruce Willis. Sadie was a fun character.

It was alright. Through the book you know who is doing the evil. It was more a story of a man with mental illness who had died and been to hell and thought he needed to recreate Jesus’ life to go to heaven and the search to find and catch him.

Good book. Hard to put down. I liked the character development, the plot and the setting description. Had hoped to find out what had happened when Ted was at the bus stop and Claire was attacked, but it sounds like the next book will continue that story. Amanda is a hoot. Redemption Point is the next book.

This book just didn’t come together for me. The concept was good but the execution was lacking. Many different stories going on and any main story just got lost in it all. Not believable and the characters were all too British for me. I wouldn’t read more by this author.

At first I didn’t enjoy reading this. The author used a lot of intelligent sounding words and that was off-putting. But the hook hooked me and I was all in trying to figure out how the killer knew the numbers and covered his tracks. I had several theories about main characters being the killer, and that made the book engrossing. If I hadn’t read with those theories, it would not have been as interesting.

Read only The Unwanted. Supernatural isn’t my favorite element. The idea of the plot was interesting but I didn’t love the supernatural addition. The twist at the end was intriguing. The book was an easy read but wasn’t “can’t put it down”.

Just ok. Couldn’t really get into it.

The book was interesting but I didn’t much care for the ending. The body jumping was weird and didn’t feel like it fit with the rest of the book. I couldn’t figure out what the bike shop had to do with anything. The death of the murderer was anticlimactic. I was looking for more resolution and answers.

Didn’t finish. There was no mystery about who the killer was. And all of the descriptions of the diamond industry were boring. And there were two cases being worked. Just not into this book.

Michael’s style of writing is easy to read and chapters are short. There were a couple big surprises at the end. The Harry Bosch character irritates me- he is an egomaniac who thinks he is always right. I was surprised that his ex-wife was killed off. I would still read more by this author, even though the Harry character is annoying.

Doris went into way too much detail about the art world for my taste. We did learn who killed Isabelle’s father at the end but not nearly enough explanation was provided. The relationship with Izzy’s sister Nina was also abruptly resolved at the end. This was a very long book that bounced between Spain, NY and NM. Didn’t love it.

Could not keep track of characters, plots, motives or story. Sue was too descriptive and didn’t develop the characters or the solving of the two mysteries enough (wife shot through peephole and investigator killed - possibly murdered by mushroom laced pastry). Mystery solved in one paragraph at end of book and book did not tie up pieces very well. I need to quit reading these.

Another good read by Emily that takes place in MI, although not as good as Funny Story. The two writers storyline bugged me a little and there was a little too much deep stuff with parents dying and abandoning and having second families and dying. The romance build up didn’t do it for me either.

Author did a good job with keeping me guessing. There was a good twist at the end that I sort of saw coming but not enough to figure it out. It was a nice change of pace to have a setting in Key West and have the story set around tennis and boats. The characters and dialogue were on point. It was a good read.

Nice change of pace from the cop/lawyer books. Well written. She tried to work a surprise in, but it was fairly obvious who was behind harming the newborns at the hospital. Would probably read more by the author.

Ended up liking this more than I thought I would. There was lots of Harlem and cop history included, which was rather interesting. The story was about more than just the trial, it touched on dirty cops, politics and race relations.

The idea behind the story was good but I didn’t think the execution was very strong. The secret at the end was obvious. I was hoping the love story back story would have had more substance. The main character romance also was lacking development. The book was just ok.

It was a good book. Easy to read, no annoying characters, the plot moved right along. Not so much a who dunnit as it was a story about this crazy guy named Pilot who was kind of a Charles Manson type. There was a lot of killing and some were rather graphic but that wouldn’t deter from reading more. Lots of actio took place in the UP.

Maps, islands, love, adventure, mystery, gold, scandal, murder. This book had it all. A girl discovers a map and a journal in a closed off room in her house. This kicks off a series off events that lead her on an adventure to search for her brother who went looking for the secret Paradise Island. Enjoyed it.

Enjoyed this. Good dialogue, characters weren’t too annoying, plot wasn’t too complicated. Nice little surprise at the end. It had twists and turns. Liked the idea of someone getting another person’s old phone number and the complications that can develop from it.
