Also unfortunately turned off by that side chick action - yes, yes no one knew he'd make it. Still not happy with Liesel's stint as Josh Harnett vs Orion's Ben Affleck.

I see now why this series is being compared to The Hunger Games. Freedom fighters, running away, powerful heroine as icon of the rebellion...same vibe, too: exhausting. So I take mini breaks (I just finished Anna Banks’ Ally kind of break). I’m not liking Mare or anyone in this 2nd book in the series, actually. Mare’s feeling very special indeed. I don’t see why, really.

The Iron Knight is a hard read. Not because the plot and words are complicated but because I hate it when 'The Ex' joins in the story.

Will update review once I'm done. Not a very merry story to read this Happy Christmas so maybe I'll resume once the holidays are over.
