I hunted this book down from a bookseller with flexible ideas about release dates before it should have been available AND THEN I DIDN’T EVEN READ IT. I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype or be what I wanted it to be.

Now, finally, here we go.

This has all the depth and predictability of a Hallmark movie, but that’s pretty much what I signed up for. Nice to see Canada as the setting, though.

I will finish this for my goodreads goal, but the inner monologue of the MC is giving me flashbacks to 50 Shades inner monologues. Not as bad but still super cringey.
