Hunh. I think Goodreads ate my original review. The TV series adaptation is about to come out so I'm giving it a re-read to refresh my memory. Hard to believe it's been over a decade since I read this.

I may give it a new review writeup; we'll see. I think it's hard to do that on a re-read so I'll just decide when I get there.

Just noting that I read this book before (when it first came out) in dead tree form and loved it. I got an email with an ebook deal on it so now I'm reading it again to see if my thoughts on it still hold up.
