I understand based on reviews that forgiveness is a big part of this narrative, but excuse me while I laugh out loud as the protagonists get their first taste of revenge. Maybe I'm just petty 🤷

Well, I didn't see that coming. 😬

This isn't catching me as much as Wrong Place Wrong Time (who can beat that sci-fi twist?) but that drama that's building between one parent trying to cover for her daughter and another trying to find his is so compelling. I'm a big fan of how this author portrays parent-child relationships. She's really special.

Oh, Gideon is so fun. 😂
