These books are slow paced and I'm struggling to become invested in the main characters

I don't know of I'll be able to finish this one. The hero is a meathead and the heroine is wishy washy and skittish. Neither one seem to have deeper qualities. I'm halfway through and I'm struggling to stay interested.

I'm not quite hallway through the book but I've got to say, the sex scenes are... well boring, quite frankly. Oh well, at least the storyline is kind of cute. I'm going to finish this book but I'm already disappointed with the lack of tension in any aspect so far. Sigh.

I give up. I just can't finish this book. It's either not my style or just that bad but either way I'm calling it quits.

Story 3 of 4 So far was initially and frustratingly difficult to figure out who the love interest would be. Now that I know, I'm not sure if the chemistry is there. I sure don't feel it. I suppose it's too early to tell.

Story 2 of 4 is an awkward "instant love" just didn't work for me. There was nothing terrible about the story but I feel like these two needed more than a day to develop their "forever" feelings.

Story 1 of 4 only gets 2 stars. The concept was good but the pacing was terrible, the human emotions were unbelievable, and the final sex scene was not only unnecessary but was arguably rape given the lack of consent. Overall a really difficult story to enjoy. If the second story doesn't do better than the first then this book will have to go into my do-not-finish pile.

Cord grabbed his long shaft and waved it at her. "Someone mentioned sucking on it?" Really?! I would laugh myself to tears if a guy did or said that to me. I'm having a hard enough time believing some of the things these characters say and do considering their situations, do you really have to make it more difficult by using a line like that?

This book gave me no motivation to finish it. At nearly half way into the story there seemed to be no arc. Nothing to capture my attention and make me want to turn the page and find out what happens next. Absolutely no action to move the story forward. I got tired of constantly waiting for the perverbial ball to drop but it never occurring. I rarely do this but I will not be finishing this story.

This book better have something exciting happen soon because I'm getting really bored.

Reading it again to refresh my memory before I begin book 2 in the series
