Taking a break and starting something new. This is just entirely too long winded. But the story is alright

I am stunned at how bad this book is considering how good In Five Years was. In this one, the main character is basically in love with her mother, calling her the love of her life and can’t believe when she finds out her mother had a life before her. I could not get past the infatuation this woman had for her mother. It was quite disturbing

I’m giving up. The author is entirely too wordy and it takes away from the story. It’s rare, but the movie is so much better.

Have a tough time getting thru this. It is a great story and movie but the author is entirely too wordy, it doesn’t flow. It’s taking away from the story.

Can’t even finish it. The way Cash and Baker are pining over Tilda and Avery is utterly pathetic.

I sure hope this book finishes well. Because if one more thing goes wrong for this poor girl, I might send a strongly worded letter to the author. 🤔
