Rereading this to see if it really is as good as I thought or if it was just how I was feeling in 2024.
In Simon's apartment is a chess set. I thought, "haha, kind of a nod to her next book Intermezzo." Then Simon mentioned Peter! I will have to skim (I don't think I want to reread) Intermezzo to fill in the details of the brothers' relationship and Eileen's role with them.
