Shirin Ebadi is an amazing woman. Reading about her work, courage, and intelligence makes me feel better after a bad day.

Great so far. Her writing has improved since Iran Awakening and is now a bit more lyrical, emotional, descriptive, and better paced. I'm loving it.

I definitely like Jamie's work better than Beto's. It's more fantastical and less sexual. I also don't get the deal with Fritz. Maybe one day.

This book is pretty fucked up.

School Is In was pretty good, and I really liked Rewriting Reality. I want to look into spec-fic.

Geeking Out was good.

I'm not actually sure if I'm enjoying this or not. Some of the writing is falling a bit flat.

This book is an odd mixture of the very interesting and tedious, sometimes making me dread reading it. But then I get to learn about blogging and everything is wonderful. It's weird.

It makes me slow down, but it's surprisingly enjoyable.

Everything still reads pretty unfinished. I almost liked "The Thief" and "Run Your Shit."

Not really liking this issue. It feels slap dash and empty. Monument was okay.

Timothy Liu's work was quite extraordinary, and it's taken me a while to get into Kevin Young's essay "Who Wrote the Book of Love?" but now I'm digging it.

There's a lot of info here, most of important but some of it boring.

Some of the home office stuff is quite dated, but I like the personal interviews.

So far, so good. Pretty easy to read.
