Yay, I'm so excited that I finally started reading this book, and I'm doing a buddy read too! It’s always more fun when you've got a friend who's just as hyped as you while reading.

Just wrapped up Of Blood and Fire, so I jumped straight into this novella since everyone says it’s awesome. Fingers crossed it lives up to the hype—Of Blood and Fire left me kinda mixed!

Man, this book is seriously dragging. It only starts getting good after the 70% mark. Honestly, if it wasn't for the read-along, I would've put it down and maybe picked it up later when I felt like it.

It's already mid-August, and I'm still stuck on my second book of the month... I hope this book picks up the pace soon so I can finish it and move on to my next TBR. But so far, I’m loving the classic fantasy vibes and creatures that remind me of LOTR.

Just started this book with The Sisterhood book club on the Fable app, and I'm loving both the read-along vibes and the story so far!

I’ve never come across a fantasy book that’s this fascinating, especially with a murder mystery twist. So many plot and character mysteries to unravel. Super refreshing!

I’m usually not a romance reader because the romance I find in fantasy books is often over-the-top and immature, which ends up disrupting my reading. But plot twist! Tried out Part of Your World yesterday and now I’m diving straight into this book. So far, it’s been a total blast hahaha. Best plot twist of the year, hands down!

I already know exactly what my reading preferences are like. I love adult fantasy. But 50% of my FYP is filled with people who are super excited to explain some romantasy or YA fantasy books they like. Most of the time I end up dissapointed. Are the YA fantasy and romantasy books mostly mediocre, or am I just following the wrong recommendation sources?
