The tone of this book reminds me of "the artist's way", which is a self-help book that helps people become more creative. I listened to about 10% of the artist's way but didn't finish. Both of these books are 20+ years old and well known in their respective fields. Both are slightly spiritual in their approach to improving the skill the book focuses on
