Ahh, the house that doesn't exist. That sure brings me back.

Was craving something fairytale or fairytale adjacent. Not really feeling this one, however

So far, it's very cute. I'm enjoying all pov characters and whatever is happening with that cult in-between chapters is quite funny (it's been a long time since I read Guards! Guards! but I'm being vaguely reminded of the cult/order from that one)

I had skipped all the John chapters and having reached the last one I'm now going back to them. The tone they're written in fits so perfectly. It's constant whiplash and John's delivery is 10/10

"Match to the Sixth." and now it's time for The Unwanted Guest. Do I even need to say how I adore that it's written like a play?

"I keep turning around to find you, and there's nobody there." 😭 they break my heart

I can tell how exited I was to read it the first time by how useless many of my annotations are. It's cute

Starting a reread tomorrow or maybe the day after (I'm still reeling from my last read). Happy New Year's 🎉

Chapter 63 seems to be the last chapter I had read. This is officially new territory... I'm scared

Chapter 55 presents a delightful break. Haven't stopped laughing since the opening line, this is great.

"I'm weakening. Fading. I have to do something. I use everything I have learned over the past two years. [...]" ; He does this quite often - justifies Vis being able to do things by saying "he's been preparing for this", "he's been doing X type of training", etc
