I'm so enjoying this new side of Din, and his and Ana's swapped awareness of acceptable social behaviour is hilarious (which tbf isn't exactly correct to say since Ana IS aware, of course she is, but she simply doesn't care)

If in book one I was confounded by how sparsely Din's family occupy his thoughts, here they've been brought up quite a bit. Relevant? To be seen

So many things are happening but what I need the answer to the most is what happened in New York. Because way back in chapter 2 or 3, based on what we got, I decided that perhaps the answer is the simplest one - it never happened. That still fits perfectly with everything we've been told and I'm impatiently waiting for a resolution
