I was correct. Oh, that's A+ world building, reveal, and the pay off from the first two books is so satisfying

I think something just clicked. I'm not sure about the timeline, but.... I think I just realized why the enclaves have been under attack, and the prophesy. If it's so, nicely played Novik, that's brilliant

this rr is a buddy read and we're having so much fun. I had forgotten just how unhinged these characters are

The characters are being very dumb rn how have they not figured it out? How are they not even suspicious?

Why are they so horny? 😭 I think this is a consistent problem I have with Kingfisher's writing. It just takes me out of the story, especially at moments when their priorities should be different
