Been waiting for this and having seen so many positive reviews from the arcs has my expectations somewhat high.

I do have to say... Sebastian? Black hair? Contracts? Mark of said contract on left hand? I'm finding this really amusing (if you know, you know).

Surprise appearance by Adrian Tchaikovsky! And with a story written in second person no less. This is going to be good.

Oh? Are we not going to see this from his pov? I'm curious to see how this one plays out

I have some logistical questions but other than that, I really liked it. There's nothing like watching a trainwreck.

There's a really good idea here and when the focus was on it, it was great (as in it was horrific and made me incredibly sad).The rest left to be desired

Was craving something fairytale or fairytale adjacent. Not really feeling this one, however

So far, it's very cute. I'm enjoying all pov characters and whatever is happening with that cult in-between chapters is quite funny (it's been a long time since I read Guards! Guards! but I'm being vaguely reminded of the cult/order from that one)

I had skipped all the John chapters and having reached the last one I'm now going back to them. The tone they're written in fits so perfectly. It's constant whiplash and John's delivery is 10/10

"Match to the Sixth." and now it's time for The Unwanted Guest. Do I even need to say how I adore that it's written like a play?

"I keep turning around to find you, and there's nobody there." 😭 they break my heart

I can tell how exited I was to read it the first time by how useless many of my annotations are. It's cute
