In the book, Signs of Life, a girl who is 17 has to go through the death of her twin sister. Shortly after Molly's death, her family takes a trip to France to go to a cave with past ancestors paintings, and she starts to have dreams of the paintings. She meets a man named Stefan who is a juggler, who she then falls in love with. Throughout the story, it seemed that Stefan made Hannah's grieving had got a lot better.
