Read this over quite a while, which reflects only the format, as the content was very compelling. Part memoir, part drag history, with charming illustrations throughout. Many familiar stories but told with enough wit and personality to feel new again.

did not enjoy. the character development was truly non-existent. did not feel like I knew/understood any of them or their motivations. plot was extremely linear and only included the people and moments needed for the storyline, not fun to speculate on the ending when there is so little to work with.

good book with a simple message.
