HOLY SHIT WHAT AN OPENING ACT. Incredible no notes. I'm so fully invested in this ride. Now we get a CALEB POV? Oh this gonna be good

This book is going brutal with the "zombies can be the least dangerous thing out there" angle omg

This aged better than I think it gets credit for

Not the workplace sexual assault gurl

Is this supposed to be YA or not? Because damn. Also getting such toxic codependent vibes from Jade lmao. Petra like isn't allowed to give a fuck about anybody else??

I was hoping this would give grim slightly older City of Ember vibes and so far so good 👍

"Most heroes are simply villains who haven't yet revealed their true nature."

"I don't believe that, Ana. And frankly, I'm surprised you do."

...

"I do not think you are a villain. Nor do I think you are a hero."

"Then what am I?"

"You are just...my tiger."

Now what in the AHS Coven is going on in here on this day

Why are we doing witch trials lol

I cannot justify this main character sitting on his ass this much 😭😩 his attempt to solve anything was token at best like BITCH how do you resist a mystery like this???

Okay girl I'm calling it, Cormac is gay for Declan and insecure/closeted ALSO he wants this wedding with Bryce to happen 'cause he's gonna Red Wedding his entire half of their family >.>

I'm in danger :)

Why did the writing just go so downhill in quality? Why did Ellie and Camden get so stupid and sappy? What is happening ahhh
