Because I am OCD, I'm finishing this fucking book, but I'll be damned if I read another Laurell K. Hamilton book..

This has quickly turned into a bunch of fuckery. Seriously, we have Anita working through her bullshit hang ups about fucking everyone, but yet she still does it and it drags on for P...A...G...E...S...

If this book doesn't get back to the actual case and have Anita doing something besides spreading her snatch and ass around, then I'm done with this author and this series..

Write erotica and run your agenda there.

So far I'm loving this book and this authors writing style! I may have won the book in a giveaway but I feel like I won the lottery on finding a great author. The fact that one of the lines in his book is, "you're about as inked up as a restroom wall at a truck stop.", is flipping hilarious!

I literally quit reading the book. Anyone that follows my reviews, know I'm a trooper and usually finish a book even when it really sucks ass. Well, this one reached a whole new level of suck assery. Either you have to be really young to read this book or you have to look for very little in a author. Sorry folks, I'm neither.

Have you ever started a book and two chapters in think, "this is one of the most poorly written stories I've ever read?" Well that's where I'm at folks. I'm hoping it will get better, cause the premise interests me, unfortunately the author is not doing it justice with her writhing. Harsh, but an apt statement.

"You ruin me. Absolutely and totally obliterate me."

So far I find the book really interesting. The only thing I find a tad bit redundant is the Japanese words the author seems to share constantly. At first it was neat, now it has just became a way to break up the rhythm of the authors writing. The SL itself is fresh and new. I can't remember ever reading a story quite like this before. I honestly thought Tomo was going to be a Kitsune, except the Ink didn't fit in

So far the story and characters have been quite boring. The tendency to get bogged down in thoughts and past actions have made the book a tad bit tedious. My hope is that it starts to pick up. I usually expect more out of paranormal storyline's then to be 70 pages in and still feel like I'm trudging through.

Half way through this novella. The story is interesting so far. I like the idea of the Dream Merchant and being a Dream Runner. If the author could have slowed the story and added more to the characters and more detail to the storyline, it could have been a really great book. Continuing to read. ;) This was just my first impressions.

The book is finally picking up. less kiddie stuff and more character development. I actually like the friendship that is blossoming between Emma, Chad, Max, & Macy. The Southern High School Football Virgin made me laugh out loud, because I knew exactly what the author was talking about being a Southerner myself.

So far the book is wrote for someone around the age of 15. I'm 38 so you can see, it's not for me. Since I got the book through a giveaway from Goodreads, I intend to keep on trucking. I really hope it gets better. All the name dropping is really juvenile. Actually, all the 16 year old girls I know aren't so childish. :/

I am totally enamored. So many feelings have been revealed and so much more is still secret, but we now know one must die. So sad. So horrific that kids could brought into a game and be taught how to take your opponent out even with you love that opponent more then yourself.

Finally I can see why peopleout there like this book! A tad over half way it is starting to get GOOD! Lives are starting to intertwine. I can not even begin to tell you how much it made a difference for Celia & Marco to find out they were each others opponent.

By this point the best part of the book is the boy named Bailey and that is only because my son is also named Bailey. Nice to see another boy named Bailey as I hadn't even heard of a girl named Bailey when I named him that. lol I guess that describes what I think of the book so far...

I'm having a hard time continuing to read. So far it's extremely boring..

The book didn't even start to get remotely interesting for me until I got to page 98 as I was still pissy over the last book and lack of Morrison.

Currently on page 164. The story has been a tad bit choppy, although interesting. A lot of dark aspects too the story which is great and definitely a draw.

I haven't been impressed with the book until I got to page 35..

"Sam, honey, you look filthier than a hot tub in a brothel."

Yup, that one line just amused the hell outta me. :p

So far I'm into the book 67 pages and the only parts that have been interesting is Alex's and Tom's. The rest is boring and if you hadn't read Ashes you would probably be utterly and truly LOST! I also don't like that the author keeps changing the POV. In Ashes the only POV was Alex's and that was fine by me. Having said that I'm still not putting the book down.

So far the book is alright, but it blends in with a million other vampire books I've read. So far nothing really stands out. It hasn't kept my attention, therefore I'm gonna give it a rest and read a different book, then come back to it.

Ack I seriously just couldn't hack the second in the series. The author is trying WAY to hard to make funny quips and honestly the Heroine is just stupid. I picked this book up and started reading, then set it down, and picked up a few hours later. I can usually read 2 or more books a day, but this one just couldn't hold my attention. (shrug)
