Struggling with this one as she made Ave so easy to dislike in the first book. Really really struggling to connect with her and have any concern for her and her plight.

So far I really hate Elizabeth. She is rude whilst calling everyone else rude. She’s all the worst stereotypes of Americans traveling into any foreign country and forcing their ways on everyone else. I can usually finish a book this size in a day and I’m 3 and don’t even want to read. We’ll see if I finish it or leave it.
