Well, that was dark and depressing. :/

I remember disliking The Mule story the most when I first read the trilogy, so this next part should be interesting.

I just realized that I started this on what would have been Isaac Asimov's 101st birthday.

The first 100 pages was a bit tough to get through, since Wade was such an emo asshole to start with. I hope these new developments mean a change is a comin'.

What a terrible "canonical ending" to the series. 🙁

Hm, I had no idea Geraldo Rivera was, at one time, Vonnegut's son-in-law.

Twenty-nine pages of preamble to tell the story of the protagonist's grandfather, father, and mother. This should be an interesting journey through the mid-twentieth century. And we almost shared the same birthday, off by just two days.
