DNF. not for me.

I'm cleaning out my "currently reading" shelf to only include the two books I am actually currently reading, Carmilla and Rebecca (it's a summer of feminine obsession, I guess). DNF Bel Canto, so much of the writing was beautiful but the subject left a poor taste in my mouth. I will come back to and finish the short story collection and Wilson's Iliad later this year.

DNF at 1/3. It's just not grabbing me, and I can't shake the distaste that this is based on a real event with no acknowledgement of the event itself, the country it occurred in, or the political forces driving the events.
