a gift from a beloved friend. he told me that he loved this book like the way i loved Chinatown. that how much I sympathized with the women in Chinatown was how much he sympathized with the man in this book.
currently on page 46. this is definitely a quite difficult and heavy read. however, i will try to finish it soon and figure out the reasons why he feels great sympathy for that man.
