Reading it aloud so hubby and I can share the experience.

Comparing this to one of the most cared about YA novels out there, Twilight, I think it is safe to say, that girls old enough to fall in love, are also old enough to have picked up a terrible habit: Doubting that someone could truly love them just as they are. Especially if they aren't told so all the time. Sad...

Bitchfight. Finally!!

I had forgotten how many dress details was in the first book. But no worries, this sequel easily parallels it.
I myself am not that into descriptions of dresses, but I acknowledge that there is a social norm consensus that girly girls DO love everything clothing design. And this is a girly girl book. So I'll let it slide and breeze over the minute descriptions of colours, patterns, fabrics and frilly bits. A plenty!

Soooo... I've had this for a while, but I have heard nothing but bad things about it, so I wanted to wait until I had the third book in the trilogy as well. Hate waiting for conclusions. Unfortunately it's been a while since I read the first one (about a year) so I hope the author does a good of weaving a recap into the first couple of chapters.

So far a little too much information and detail on each page. Leaves less space for the quick pace I was hoping for...

The problem with having 20+ fresh books to choose from, is having to choose one! ARGH!!!

Ok, so yeah. This is my 5th book on my currently reading list right now. The heart wants what the heart wants. And this is apparently it. What I'm hoping for: A lighthearted somewhat funny, somewhat romantic, slightly suspenseful story with a likable, relatable main character. In short, a no-brainer summer holiday read.

Argh. So good. So hungry. Must pause. Hunger is distracting. Grrrhh.

So far, so much better than the sequel (for me). More action and more... meaning. :)

Am skipping huge chunks of the Scarlet/Wolf story because... I don't care. Bur it finally seems to go somewhere. Two third's through the book...
