Seriously struggling with this..such hard going

Does this get better? I'm seriously struggling which is very unlike me...bland 2 dimensional characters and a stilted narration... do I push on in the hope it gets better??

Really struggling with this...just checked the goodreads ratings and people are blown away with it... So why am I having to force myself to sit and plough on with it... 25% is usually my cut off point for giving up if I'm not enjoying a book... I'm very close to putting it down now...

It's been a while since I've read such a page turner.... Or a book with such such a creepy undertone...loved the nod to Needful Things (one of the many SK books I loved growing up) at the beginning. ...right back to it!

Giving up already! I don't like the narrative style. Skipped forwards to halfway and read a page and it's still the same... Just not my cup of tea sorry..

Uh oh... 1% in... On about p15 and the awful grammar/editing is hard work already. How frustrating, I love this author, but editing can't be skipped...

Really enjoying this so far... Love a big fantasy epic and this book is huge!

Struggling to keep going with this...the flashbacks are well written and gripping but I cannot stand the present tense used in the bulk of the book. It jumps around a lot I'm having a hard time working out when each chapter is... Also, I'm not sure how I feel about the mutant creatures, not really my cup of tea...
