Flavia is still banished to the big, bad T.O. and has just discovered that but for her own family’s financial generosity to the dastardly boarding school, the school would seem to have had to close down permanently, like due to a total dearth of any other development funding. So now in thanks, she’s being coached as a cadet in the mysterious arts and crafts of some arcane spy school.

Could hardly believe what the heck Flavia got up to and on p. 148 the justification she gave for it all was that her emotions were writhing inside like snakes in a pit.
Sorry to rain anyone’s picnic but that is a textbook definition of schizophrenia and since she’s a child that would be childhood schizophrenia -it’s sort of incurable. I don’t really want to read about a crazy life.

READ O.A. literature with me.
Read the AA Preamble, the Serenity Prayer and the reflection on seeking a working faith, FAITH -GOD AS WE UNDERSTAND HIM. Also known in AA and OA as a higher power and as a power greater than ourselves. AA’s must share their faith with others who still suffer from alcoholism [and OA’s with others who still suffer from alcoholic foods, compulsive overeating].
