RIP Dan Simmons.

My Library of America compendium calls this collection “The Lottery; Or, The Adventures of James Harris”. I am assuming it is the same collection as this. Apparently it was the only short story collection published during Jackson’s lifetime.

Started a new job. I am being bombarded with nonstop virtue signaling and PC garbage. I very much need to read something from a different time when NONE of that bullshit existed.

Had to fix my edition. Mine is by Dean R. Koontz, not that imposter Dean Koontz.

I have no idea if this will be good. Graham Hancock has been a favorite of mine for decades, but I’ve never tried a novel from him. I found a beautiful copy for $3 so let’s see what happens.

Surprised there were only 19 editions of this novel listed on GR. You’d think there would be a lot more as the movie still gets talked about.

This is a reread for me, last time was 20+ years ago. I have no memory of this place.

I’ve spent the last 25 years thinking The Mediterranean Caper was the first Dirk Pitt. It isn’t, it’s this book. Amazing.

Book 3? Am I going to be confusion when I read this book? Gonna find out.

I bought a set of Holmes in paperback, but I can’t find a cover to match my edition; got tired of scrolling. This one works just fine, it’s nicer than mine

I’m going to stick with Dracula only unless anyone thinks I should move forward to the rest of the Bram Stoker material in here. Convince me lol

Co-written by Gordon R Dickson, I got this in a Dickson lot on EBay. Never read Laumer before, so we’ll see

This is a re-read for me, I loved it in the 90s.

Halfway through the Pendergast series re-read. I'm glad I decided to do this. This is by far my modern series.
