Dnf such boring characters

I'm gonna give this a book a few more chapters but as of right now, not a very interesting story

"By treating her like a goddess, he forces her to act like a goddess... But the man is then free to act like a human being" this short story is so brilliant of how it was written, you inside of a mind who is grieving their friend who gave her life too much to men

So far I love this book and all of the black history people don't think about anymore

One of the short stories being about how they tried to go into a white establishment and got arrested. Of course they being dressed fancy didn't matter at all

This book does captures how discriminatory Nigeria can be especially towards women

It almost reminds me of Percy Jackson books, how he meet random powerful people that just wanna play tricks and games

This family drama scene so good 🤭

I just love how she used imagery in this book and it is very continuous and consistent

Dnf. I don't like the writing style at all

Such a time capsule, I keep having to Google so many things that was apparently a trend in the 70s
