2/3 of the way through and eveybpage feels like a list of who bought which folio. I liked the stories of the obsessive collectors and the impressive library building much better than the exhaustive detail of ownership.

Had to switch to have it read to me via reading app. It's too sludgy and it made me restless when reading with my eyes. That said, it was fairly good and I particularly like having the epistolary format read to me. I read this book as a companion to the Great Courses class "The English Novel."
