Buch einer nicht selbst polyamoren Person, mal sehen. Was ich am Anfang schon... schwierig finde, ist dass als eine der 5 festen "Vorraussetzungen" physische Intimität aufgezählt wird - ich kenne so viele Asexuelle (und btw. auch Aromantische) Polypersonen, die hier wohl mal wieder vergessen werden.

Rereading my old (auto)biographies and books and realising what an edgelord Nikki was lol, but it makes me realise how I myself have grown xD

I'm reading the updated edition of the book, so I'm really looking forward to the newer commentary at the end of the book

Unsurprisingly this reads like any other self help book ("journal everyday, make room for yourself, love yourself, free yourself from toxic people" etc.), just for artists lol

Autorin spricht sich für nichtmonogame Strukturen und andere queere Beziehungsformen aus und Thematisiert die Kolonialisierung von Beziehungsformen und Ableismus . Gut!

Bisher sehr gut, die Autorin erwähnt auch immer warum sie Begrifflichkeiten in gewissen Kontexten benutzt und vergisst nicht die Intersektionalität.

Found the time to reread everything - I really hope I can do this lol, but learning Spanish is so fun. <3

Good thing I didn't read this one before my surgery... so much can go wrong D:

"Polyamorous people can be just as cruel and intentionally harmful as monogamous people, even taunting their partners to tears. The idea that someone isn't responsible for that, even if their partners could have been 'stronger' to avoid being upset, doesn't sit right with me."

Since the "community" has a big gaslighting problem (they just call it NVC) more people should read this book lol

She goes a bit into detail about the experienced bullying, which is interesting if you made similar experiences but only ever read about that topic written through an allistic lense.
