Well this is atrocious. You'd think at book #44 in the series maybe the characters might be a bit less stilted with each other.

I have been desperate to read this and went with the audio as it was all that was available at my library. Its not on KU .

Its awful...

( side note: my library won't buy anything more than 10 years old. This is common. So why don't authors more commonly put their books into KU? This is a long series so expensive to buy 🤷‍♀️)

This last bit is killing me. If I hadn't already committed so long to listening I'd have thrown in the towel by now. The FMC is just stupidly stubborn for no reason.

ch 31 - The whole thing about looking after his nieces irks me. A lot.

Its such a 'girl-thing' to do and she is like a veritable genius on an internship. I hardly think she has time for childcare. Especially not when the MMC has a sitter for the girls .

Where on earth did that even come from? It wasn't necessary for the storyline I dont think (though I'm happy to be proven wrong)

This story is so good. Long but good.

But why do I wholly dislike the FMC so much? What is it with the uneducated FMC that grates? Why does this being, who is basically like a god, find anything interesting in her ignorance and defiance?

Ok. What is up with this book? Did the author have some kind of reality break where she forgot how to write?

I started this on Libby few weeks ago and only got a few pages in before returning it because it wasn't where I was at.

Seems the universe has plans for me to read it anyway as my library hold off the actual book came through so I have it again.

The actual book is much more fun to read and that cover is lush
