I've never read any Harlan Coben books. I wasn't missing anything. I know people love this author, but this book was so unbelievable and fake I couldn't believe this book would cause a stir. Drivel.

Couldn't get into this at all. Awful!

It seems to happen more and more. I'm looking at my feed, and see books that I've read on my friends list that they've read, or that they want to read, but it says I haven't read them? Case in point The Nickle Boys. It says I want to read it. I've read it. I'm positive I reviewed it. It was when it first came out. All it says is I want to read it. This seems to be happening a lot. Anyone else?

I'm going to have to put this book on hold. I'm reluctant to abandon it yet, as I've enjoyed and read every one of Ms. Donoghue's books, but this book, I just can not get into. It doesn't even seem to be her writing? I've tried 3 times, starting at the beginning each time, and the farthest I've gotten is 100 pages. Perhaps another time. :(

I'm going to have to abandon this book. I got it at the library when I returned The Residence, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but this one is far too much like the Residence to read immediately after. So, I'll try to finish it at another time in 2017.

This is a fun book and it was just what I was looking for when I started, but I also am reading 4 or 5 other books at the same time, and as this one requires some note taking, I'm putting it aside for now and will pick up later.

I've now completed my 2015 Book Riot reading harder challenge! I couldn't be happier with the books I read, the genre bending I did, and the growth I feel I gained! Now to finish up the reviews before sending in my completed list to the site!

Sadly, I was short 8 books from my goal of 150 books for the year. But what books! In no particular order, my favourites were:Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, All We Had, A Man Called Ove, Mister Owita's Guide to Gardening,A Short Say in Hell, A Call to Action, The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, The Book of Unknown American's, This Dark Road to Mercy, the Madd Addam Trilogy, and An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth.

I read this from a recommendation. Pretty main stream airport reading. Fairly good writing skills, but the topic area was a little unbelievable. Supposed to be "creepy", but it was more annoying. Good character development.

Almost finished and I just started last evening. lol Reading this again for a Trivia night next week. Lovely book. A classic.

Very difficult book to read. I keep looking at how many pages it is, and hoping it's going to get better!
