I didn’t not like any of the characters… so I’ve put it aside.

Not my favorite… After a meandering hundreds of pages it ended abruptly with a cliffhanger! Ugh

I recently had the pleasure to see "The Door in the Floor" on TV. It is an adaptation of the first section of "A Widow for One Year" by John Irving. The movie is exceptional - starring Jeff Bridges and Kim Bassinger. I needed to cleanse my reading palate after the last book I read, so I'm rereading the second and third sections of this wonderful book. It is like catching up with an old friend.

I couldn't get into this one. I will try again - maybe.
