Clay and the Immortal Memory, book 10 in my Alexander Clay series, has just been published.

It's a little longer than my usual novels, which several readers have asked for. It follows on from Upon the Malabar Coast. The crew of the Griffin are returning from India after over a year away, impatient to see loved ones at home, but fate has other ideas.

I hope you enjoy what I have created

All the best

I have just published my sequel to Sea of Wolves.

The Wolves in Winter takes the action on to the Arctic convoys sent to help Soviet Russia. Appalling weather, deadly cold as well as wolfpacks of U-boats await them amid the ice. Once again, the crew of HMS Protea, will need the unseen hand of Vera Baldwin and her fellow codebreakers at Bletchley Park to guiding them through the dangers.

I hope you enjoy it!

My latest novel is published worldwide today.
Upon the Malalabar Coast is the 9th book in my Alexander Clay series. It picks up the action a year on from the end of Larcum Mudge. It is Spring 1803, and as Clay struggles with life in peace time Britain, Europe is sliding back towards war. When a French squadron leave Brest on a secret mission to India, Clay and the crew of the Griffin are soon on their trail...

Merry Christmas to all!

2020 has been a year to forget it so many ways - all those dashed plans and lives lost, but there is some hope. for the future.

For one thing so many people have rediscovered the solace and pleasure of books this year. And my 92 year-old father was vaccinated yesterday.

Have as good a Christmas as you are able to.

All the best

Hi there,
I am very excited today - my latest novel, Sea of Wolves, has just been published. It's set during the Battle of the Atlantic in WW2.
I really enjoyed writing this one, particularly the character of my young code breaker from Bletchley Park, Vera Baldwin.
Hope you enjoy it too.

Stay safe.

Hi there

For my latest book I have decided to try my hand at something different.

Sea of Wolves is set in WW2 during the Battle of the Atlantic. It follows three separate stories, one set on a U-boat, one on a convoy escort and a lady codebreaker working at Bletchley Park. The stories twist around each other towards the denouement of the novel.

I am really excited that Larcum Mudge, the latest book in my Alexander Clay, series has been published today.

Clay is sent to the West Indies to recapture a ship that has mutinied. But he soon finds more is at stake. Smuggling and corruption, ghosts from the past and a hidden ship of the line, will test him to the limit. And who is Larcum Mudge?

On Kindle, with the paperback to follow soon.

Stay safe
