Page 150 and I’m calling it a night. I just finished sobbing. My heart hurts. Goodnight.

I have cried twice already. I’ll be keeping track.

Literally have to force myself to put this down and go to bed. When I tell you I’m obsessed…. Bonus points bc it takes place in my state.

I’m on the first page of the first chapter, 3 lines in, and I’m already OBSESSED.

So bored but I’m determined to finish this today, or at least this weekend

I was so excited for this book but I’ve honestly just been kinda bored with it. I hoping the ending makes this worth it bc it’s been a lil lackluster for the last 100 pages.

I want more interactions between the whole group, or at least more than 3 people at a time. I’m nearly done with the book, and all six of them have only interacted like 2 times?? sigh

over halfway down and NOW my interest is back. the dialogue is always so pretentious. everyone talks like Yale professors besides Libby and it feels so pretentious.

I’m honestly so confused as to what’s going on? Very little about the magic system or the world has been explained. And why such a large time skip between their first day there and then the next chapter? I’m a little lost and uninterested tbh.

I am so in love with this book. I love every twist and turn it's thrown at me. The world is so interesting and I constantly feel like I'm learning more and more about it. I only wish the characters were described a tad bit more, but giving El's character, it makes sense. She doesn't seem like the type to really pay attention to others' looks.
