This was disappointing. Rare DNF for a gothic Romantasy book. Plot disintegrates, a lot of bloat subplots /side quests that don’t integrate, zero chemistry between Maevyth and Zevander, whose backstory is a big part of the book. It really needed an editor to cut 1/4 of the material out.
