picking this up after having just started learning about the yoruba people and religion is actually such a goated move

"naturally, not all men (#notallmen)" has me fucking rolling

screw "bury your gays," we have "forget your gays"

this series gives me so much anxiety for a quaint witchy tale

maternal feelings for luke 🥀🥀

starting off the book club read right by checking this out at the library

im not enough of a gooner for whatever they have going on. not even fucking just. the whole thing

why does every "Gothic fantasy" include incest. I feel its actually unrelated to the genre and the plot as a whole. could've made the characters not related and had a similar effect.

god forbid we have the clearly sexually traumatized character experience trust or care or fondness for the fmc first. no no no. lust and only that. are we serious

maybe its my apathy towards idol culture as a whole, but i genuinely dont care about whatever is happening here. it doesnt feel like there is a real plot. stuff just happens and we move on

I choose to believe this is all canon in the original Huckleberry Finn (ive never read it)

jumpscare Robert Frost "Yellow Wood"

pro israel propaganda in my book on how people become evil? its more likely than youd think

the season one ending is DASTARDLY

this book sucks so bad man

I dont know what it is about it, but I truly hate when authors use ' instead of " to indicate speech

is it hypocritical of me to say I dont like excessive swearing in novels?

full body shivers.

thomil the goat for calling sciona on her racism

sobbing!

had a big and cheesy grin on my face just for sciona to be a classist bitch again. girl youre sleeping in your office and youre insulting someone offering you to go out and drink. fuck off.

sciona be like: to make up for the fact that im not respected in the workplace because im a woman, im going to be racist instead

im going to start taking shots everytime sciona is classist towards the janitor

holy shit.
