Dennis Dowd is finished with Lee's Last Campaign: The Story of Lee and His Men Against Grant-1864

Interesting book, written in 1960. Author is from Virginia & it shows. Good biographical passages on southern generals. He doesn't like Grant & still can't imagine how he beat "The very best soldier". (Winfield Scott's description of RE LEE)
