I've always seen Kayog as a warm fatherly type throughout the series, seeing him as the mysterious sexy type is giving me whiplash in a good way.

Eden is bringing down the Book for me because she CHOSE to date an assassin/killer but is very judgmental and is constantly reminding everyone how much she values life and is a good person. Linc deserves better than this whiplash she puts him through. Demanding honesty from Linc then being horrified by the answers. I wish she'd go date an accountant.

Her mother is abusive and hateful. The fact that this author is trying to convince readers otherwise is wild as fuck.

May and June are looking like fantastic months for book releases. That new Nalini Singh Psy Changling book comes out next month, as does This Wicked Fate by Kalynn Bayron (Sequel to Poison Heart). I'm so damn excited for the both of those!!
