It's been a long time since I last read this, even though I used to love this as a young adult. After going through it again it was still funny and absurd, even if it didn't wasn't quite as refreshing as back in the day. I'd give this 3.5, but let's round it up to 4 for the sake of nostalgia.

I liked the attention to detail on the various time-travel destinations. A lot of repeating introductions about the setting in every story was a bit tiresome when reading tthem as a collection. Not recommended for people who don't like women being mostly presented as beautiful damsels in distress :) (which I guess reflects the time when most of these stories were written)

Still, not a bad collection of stories.
