catching up on summer reading assignment for my fourth graders

okay this isn’t fair. i spent a whole book falling in love with Silas and now (im assuming) this new guy is the great love of her life? also there was no follow-through with her endometriosis diagnosis and the fact that she wasn’t sure she would be able to have kids and now she has two? it’s like the writer completely forgot she wrote a book about Casey before this

reading about Casey in college (without seeing a confirmation that she is the main character yet but i know in my heart of hearts that she is) feels like cheating
