So far not nearly as good as the first book. Obviously written by different authors but this book feels written down to a lower reading level. Im having to search for connection to either of the main characters. They are rather flat and have done nothing to make me care about either's motivations.

This is absolutely hilarious. Reminds me very much of The Birdcage. Avra is in the vein of Nathan Lane's Albert, and therefore may not sit well with everyone if they are not used to that type of dramatics.

While the story itself is decent so far, I am really over Molly's judgement of her weight, her envy of thinner women, and concern about eating in front of "attractive men". I suppose its very mid 2000s, especially for a FMC who is a size 14. But she has 2 male LI. Like girl own your bad self

I dunno if i am missing something but this seems out of order. 3 is christmas time. 4 is autumn. Granted I'm not very far into the story yet but its seems like it hasn't been 9 months since book 3?

I had to update because I am one chapter in and already so in love with the story and this authors voice. I laughed so hard which is a wonderful way to deal with a funeral. Ta - and cheers 🍻

The tenses are weird and sometimes I find myself pulled out of the story to reread the line again because it just seems.... strange. But so far I am enjoying the story exponentially more than I anticipated

Oof that first chapter was rough and hard to get into. If I didn't like the series so much I wouldn't have pushed through

It doesn't matter how much I love this storyline, I can never give it 5 stars because this author *insists* on calling every Ladyship "her grace" and it absolutely throws one out of the story. Its infuriating. I forgotten she is apt to do it until I am knocked out of the story once again for incorrect title usage
