Really enjoying this story so far, though!

I added this book to the top of my TBR bc I want to read at least a few Goodreads-nominees before the year ends. (Side note: I was surprised how few of the nominees I had even heard of! And The Women was the ONLY one I had read! The Shame!) Anywho... The storyline snagged my interest and I was in the mood for something besides my usual trash. The Australian narration accent was a surprise, but I like it.

I'm really surprised this book has such high ratings. If I wasn't so close to finishing it I'd DNF it. 😑

Looking forward to my drive home today when I can finish this one.

Holy cow. So glad I was recommended this book. Incredible narration and the story sucks me in right from the get-go. It reminds me a lot of how I feel watching the movie Interstellar.

I'm a total sucker for this genre 🖤🖤 I have a feeling I'm going to devour the series over the next few weeks.
