Thought about rereading rhythm section as it’s been 5ish years but figure I’ll continue reading series and will reread it if necessary at a later date meanwhile excited to read Stephanie Patrick series more

Full disclosure Parr of me was debating if I wanted this to be my last read of 2025. But after anticipating this novel for so long I couldn't wait lol

Just started and immediately hooked. However there is no way I am going to read this box set straight through lol my self- diagnosed adhd won’t allow it but I’ll read a title or two at time and long as it’s good will read them all eventually

3 outta 4 titles done. So far solid 3.5-4 stars

2 titles down taking short break before reading last 2

Finished prowlers(book 1) really liked it 4 stars

This is taking me 3x as long as my usual king read. I'm enjoying it, guess just savoring it lol not taking so long because I'm not liking it

Age of Ra was solid would give it 3.33 stars. It has its flaws, but I really like lovegrove's style and it was a fun book. May take a pause before continuing this omnibus and read a book or 2 before resuming with age of zeus (goal is to begin it around mid feb)

enjoying this, but setting it aside for now as I'm going to Panama beginning of march and feel I'll finish 2nd half on beach😁

ok this is just insane even for King. read as a standalone this is an amazing novel but even if there havent been direct references i feel this story serves the beam

interesting premise but somewhat cliched characters. sort of reminds me of Red Sparrow

I love the world building and sancia and clef are charming

it's been so long I've forgotten what a great atmospheric novel this was, I am quickly remembering why I liked it so much

first few pages were a little rough...I rolled my eyes but its settling into being a nice return to the start tonally. Rice is writing this story without using a page or more to describe something especially Lestats angst which is refreshing.

have only read a chapter so too early to judge but considering how much i anticipated this novel the writing seems hack-y. hopefully it starts to blow me away

a thriller with an interesting premise, and brisk pacing. i think i read it was optioned to be on the screen which doesnt surprise me. what does surprise me is i made it this far reading it before I realized i really dont like any of the characters. ill finish it as plot pushes me forward but i hope once its adapted at least one of the MCs isnt so unlikeable.
