I'm reading the 2024 revised edition. According to some reviews it's pretty academic and can get dry at times so I'll probably pick up another book to read alongside it, but it feels like a perfect book for the season

GIMME KISS WAS IMPROVISED!!!!!!???

It's noted so many times how Shane or Ilya "can't help himself" when it comes to the other 🥹

figured I should do something other than watching heated rivalry for like the 20th time
THIS IS SO FUN TO READ
the fact we didn't get shane jorking it in the shower after the draft day gym scene is tragic 😔

still not a poetry girlie but I just love finding poems that really do it for me. "The Christening" was SO stinkin cute and I really liked "Lines and Squares" as well :)

one of my bookish pet peeves is when characters are too self aware and express themselves just a little too well for it to feel natural... and unfortunately that's this book😬 entertaining enough but probably won't continue the series

het luisterboek is niet erg prettig voorgelezen, maar ik leer veel!

lowkey feeling embarrassed it took me weeks to continue bc i still rly like it i just got distracted reading heated rivalry fanfiction and watching young royals oops

I'm having a bit of a difficult time with this book unfortunately. I still love Emily Henry's writing, but I think I don't like how this book keeps moving back and forth in time and it takes too long to get to WHY they broke up so I don't feel like I can root for them in the "present" timeline.

girl idk the last time I was able to read this many pages in one day
def not the most well written book but I'm having a blast

I'm not even halfway through but the confessions are already becoming a bit repetitive😬 still a fun read tho

maybe I shouldve dnfed this but I just had it in the background while doing my jigsaw puzzle (ALMOST finished oh my god the struggle) and now I'm almost done so 🤷 this book just isn't hitting for me idk

first time reading stephen king. my (dad's) copy has tiny annoying to read font so I decided to go with the audiobook (needed a new one anyway). I like stories on human experimentation (or at least the concept), but I'm not sure yet if I like this approach. A lot of telling not showing so far. I also didn't care for the start/the cop character

☆audiobook☆
wanted something light after that chonker of a classic and this one is perfect to listen to while working on my jigsaw puzzle

oh man two things: this sure is a product of it's time bc the racism 😬 and the way Stephen keeps calling Mary "child" gives me the major ick. Like I could get past the age difference (about 10 years and Mary is in her 20s), but she keeps commenting on how Mary reminds her of a child and just 😬😬😬

:(

"Thirty-one years old, these things happened" I guess?????????????? finding teeth in your vagina totally normal

enjoying this a lot more than the soulmate equation!
