I'm OBSESSED. After chapter 6 I got hooked. I'll admit the first few chapters were info dumping. So many characters...so many creatures...just overwhelming but after chapter 6 when things took a turn...I couldn't stop reading it

This is a really hard book to read honestly. I feel sick to my stomach that I had to stop. It's interesting how it also kind of reminded me how I obsess on people and on guys (without the age gap) but that instant addiction to the person you barely know. I've had those in many instances. I have had embarrassing pathetic moments out of it and it triggered me and how naive I was. Very powerful book honestly

I didn't find this book as addictive as I thought I would. It's a really cool concept but it does drag a lot and I'm just waiting for everything to piece together but it's not technically a page turner. There are more mundane chapters than I would have liked. It's okay so far. I want to just get thru it and see what happens

WHAT THE FUCK is going on...I'm sooo confused. What a crazy book this is. I have so many theories in my head to what is happening but I don't know how it can be explained within this last 30% reading on what all of this is. I'm hoping I'm HOPING it doesn't have ambiguous ending that is left for interpretation

This is such a good book so far. The author knows how to write horror so effectively. My heart is pounding. I've never been this scared of a book in my life. It's just so eerie and everything is slightly off and I love it

Okay I'll admit this book is downright scary. Each chapter is dreadful and makes me feel anxious and tense along with Eve our main character...my GODD...I am just apprehensive right now. Everything and everyone is sooooo creepy

I relate to Sickan in so many ways. I feel her emotions, insecurities and thoughts. Such a precious book that I found in the right moment in life.

I wasn't expecting to love and resonate with Sickan this much when starting this book. I feel very connected, empathetic and entranced by her and her past. Some of the things she did I did...some of the things that happened to her happened to me. Her thoughts, fear, anxiety and emotions. It also made me self-reflect and remember some memories

Oh my God. This woman is insane..In the bathroom on her daughter's birthday??? 😦😦

😂😂 The way I am laughing at each chapter of this book. Our main character is sooo obsessive and sooo funny. I am enjoying being inside her head. Such a fun book so far.

Ohhhh this is getting reallyyyy good...I wasn't expecting myself to be immersed in this world and care about the characters this much. I like the fact that the romance and tension is at the back burner and it's all about the plot the politics and the trials of it all. I see where the hype comes from now

There are some weak plot points on this book like Ambassador Nagel changing her mind suddenly to free Langdon and Katherine but it has so much information and knowledge on so many things. It looks like Dan Brown has done extensive research to write this book. Each page reveals so much information on history, psychology, noetic science, the CIA. It is so enjoyable and thrilling while enriching your mind.

I am feeling anxious over this book. I hate Wallace and I don't want anything to happen to Abith or Samson lol They are becoming precious to me and I know chaos will ensue 😭

I can tell this book was written with deep research. I love it so far. The tension and thrill is building up and I'm so intrigued to unravel the mysteries to the golem, threshold, Kathrine Solomon's book etc.

And what did i predicted is right🙄I think Frieda could have done well by unveiling the mystery piece by piece. Instead it is spoon fed to the reader through Wendy's POV. And Wendy is this one dimensional character who is just a gold digger which isn't interesting. It worked for the first book as there was character development but for this one...it's just lazy writing

POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT
It's soooooo obvious that Wendy is actually playing Millie and that Douglas is a good guy. Wendy is going to make Millie kill Douglas and then she will find out Wendy is the bad guy who wanted Douglas's money and manipulated Millie to do her bidding and will get Millie to do the dirty work. I'm hoping against hope that this is not the twist. In addition, the pace of this book is way off for me

I have a certain theory as to how this book might play out. I think I know the twist. Hopefully it won't go that route because it'll be annoying if it does
